Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om paid homage to 70s Bollywood by using original costumes worn by legendary stars. Shah Rukh Khan sported Rajesh Khanna's outfit from Aashiq in 'Main Agar Kahoon' and Rishi Kapoor's jacket from Rafoo Chakkar in 'Aankhon Mein Teri'. Manish Malhotra tweaked the costumes slightly, preserving their vintage essence and adding authenticity to the film's setting.
