Ekta's statement on BANNED OTT platforms

IndiaTimes Saturday, 26 July 2025 ()
Ekta Kapoor has refuted claims that her OTT platform, ALTT, was banned for obscene content. Kapoor clarified that she and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, stepped down from ALTT in June 2021 and have no current association. This statement follows reports that the Indian government blocked 25 OTT apps, including ALTT, for allegedly streaming pornographic material violating Indian laws.
