Ramesh Sippy recognized Shah Rukh Khan's talent early on. He directed SRK in 'Zamaana Deewana'. The film did not succeed. Sippy believed SRK had immense potential. He predicted SRK would become a unique star. Sippy felt SRK should not try to be the next Amitabh Bachchan. Shah Rukh Khan indeed created his own legacy. He became a global superstar.
