EU proposes delay to imposing tariffs on many UK-made electric vehicles
Wednesday, 6 December 2023 The European Union has bowed to demands from European carmakers and the British government for a delay to the introduction of 10% export tariffs on electric vehicles (EVs).
The Greens' Terry Reintke has pitched her party as the antidote to "right-wing, authoritarian" forces that are trying to water down climate action as she campaigns ahead of June's European elections.
