The Prince of Wales met with rugby coach, Kevin Sinfield, and former rugby league player, Rob Burrow, and awarded each of them with a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for their efforts to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease.
The Prince of Wales has visited the Gresford Colliery Disaster Memorial during his trip to north Wales. This year marks the 90th anniversary of what was one of the most serious disasters in British coal mining history. The Prince of Wales visited Ysgol yr Holl Saint primary school in Gresford during his visit to Wales. Pupils there performed folk songs and dances for him in the school hall. William was also given three teddy bears for his children and a bouquet of flowers for the Princess of Wales who is currently recovering from abdominal surgery. Report by Kennedyl.
