Delhi reports one 'isolated' case of Japanese Encephalitis, here's all you need to know
Thursday, 28 November 2024 According to the IDSP data, in 2024, 1,548 Japanese Encephalitis cases were reported from 24 states and Union Territories, with 925 cases from Assam alone. The central government guidelines, two doses of the vaccine have been a part of the Universal Immunisation Programme since 2013.
A 72-year-old man from Delhi was diagnosed with Japanese Encephalitis. He received treatment at AIIMS and was later discharged. The case is considered isolated.... IndiaTimes
