PM reveals he's been in touch with ex-England boss about issues raised in Netflix drama
Monday, 24 March 2025 Sir Keir Starmer has rejected the idea of creating a minister for men to combat some of the issues raised in the hit Netflix drama Adolescence.
Kemi Badenoch welcomed the winter fuel payment U-turn, insisting it should have happened sooner. Speaking on Monday, the Conservative party leader said: "I'm glad the government has finally done this but what took them so long? I asked Keir Starmer six times at the despatch box at PMQ's why he was doing this and that he needed to reverse it."

Sir Keir Starmer has praised the advances of AI saying it can be "hugely transformative" for the UK. In a speech delivered at London Tech Week on Monday morning, the prime minister said his government is launching a new skills programme which will allow pupils to get the skills and tools needed to get the AI-powered jobs.
