Reynolds discusses British Steel row with Chinese counterpart
Wednesday, 11 June 2025 Jonathan Reynolds, the business secretary, has discussed the government's move to seize control of British Steel with his Chinese counterpart for the first time.
The government has launched a review into parental leave as the current system has been criticised. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds said the Government will look at the whole system, including maternity leave and paternity leave, to see how it can be improved.

The business secretary has reacted to the news the US has struck three nuclear sites in Iran. Jonathan Reynolds said the government "supports the prevention of the Iranian Regime having a nuclear weapon".
