MPs vote to proscribe Palestine Action as terrorist organisation
Wednesday, 2 July 2025 () MPs have approved plans to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation after the group targeted an RAF base and an Israeli defence company's UK headquarters.
The UK’s home secretary has decided to proscribe Palestine Action and will lay an order before Parliament next week to make membership and support for the protest group illegal. Yvette Cooper confirmed the move after Palestine Action vandalised two planes inside RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire on Friday. Report by Jonesia. Members of a pro-Palestinian activist group have broken into a military base and damaged two aircrafts.
Two Palestine Action activists broke into RAF Brize Norton in Carterton, Oxfordshire, on e-scooters and sprayed red paint on two planes.
The group said the incident took place due to flights departing daily from the base to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, "a base used for military operations in Gaza and across the Middle East".

In its most chilling warning yet, Iran has vowed a far more devastating retaliation against Israel if aggression continues. Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi declared that Iran held back during its June 24 counterattack and did not unleash its full military capabilities. The warning comes after Israel’s June 13 assassination strike on top Iranian military and nuclear figures, followed by U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Speaking to Al-Mayadeen, Mousavi accused Israel and its allies of years-long plots against Iran and warned that any further provocation would be met with overwhelming force.

Israel's War Exposed: Graphic CCTV Contradicts Netanyahu's Claims On Iran Attack | World News
New, disturbing footage has emerged online showing the devastating impact of Israeli airstrikes on what appears to be a civilian area in Iran, raising serious questions about the nature of the recent conflict.
This report analyzes startling new CCTV footage that reveals the harrowing moments of an Israeli airstrike in Iran. The visuals, which have gone viral, show a busy road packed with vehicles being bombed in a heavy air raid. The clip captures cars being blown into the air and shows the attack striking not just a building, but a road jammed with unsuspecting civilians. While the footage’s exact location is yet to be confirmed, reports from Press TV suggest it originated from a region in northern Iran.
The emergence of this graphic evidence directly challenges Israel's official stance that its military actions were aimed at Iran's leadership and not its people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously called on the Iranian people to rise against their government. However, with over 900 people reportedly losing their lives during the conflict, this footage is fueling international criticism and accusations from netizens that Israel targeted civilian zones without justification.
This video breaks down the controversial footage, examines the claims and counter-claims from both Israel and Iran, and provides context on the wider geopolitical conflict. The war, which saw heightened tensions across the Middle East, eventually ceased after Iran conducted a retaliatory strike on U.S. bases in the region.
