In a dramatic turn after his high-stakes Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump revealed that he expects a direct meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — or even a tense trilateral summit including himself. Calling the Alaska talks a “feel-out meeting,” Trump said Putin “wants to get it over with,” but noted that missiles are still pounding Kiev despite what he described as “great calls.”
