Donald Trump Swoons Over Sydney Sweeney After Reports That She's a Registered Republican | THR News Video

Donald Trump is weighing in on reports that Sydney Sweeney is a registered republican in the wake of her controversial American Eagle jeans campaign. Citing public records, The Guardian reported over the weekend that Sweeney registered with the GOP last June in Florida. The 'Euphoria' actress has not commented on the reports. Trump was asked about the story while taking questions from reporters in Pennsylvania on Sunday. He responded, "She's a registered Republican?! Oh. Now I love her ad! Is that right? Sydney Sweeney ... You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That's what I wouldn't have known, but I'm glad you told me that.
