Second arrest over online racist abuse of England footballer Jess Carter
Thursday, 4 September 2025 () Police investigating racist and abusive social media messages sent to England footballer Jess Carter have arrested a second man.
Jess Carter says racist abuse during the UEFA Women’s Euros made her “feel small” and devastated her family, who struggled to support her from afar while she was in Switzerland.
