Ram and Rahim are all one: Tej Pratap on Ayodhya verdict
Saturday, 9 November 2019 Welcoming the Supreme Court verdict in Ayodhya case, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav said here on Friday that 'Ram' and 'Rahim' are one and all people should stay united. "I welcome the Ayodhya verdict. Ram and Rahim are all one and we all should stay united so that we may protect the country from its enemies," said Yadav.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination for upcoming Bihar Assembly elections on Wednesday. The RJD leader filed his nomination from Raghopur constituency in Vaishali district. Tejashwi said Mahagathbandhan govt will sanction 10 lakh jobs in first cabinet meet. "We will sanction 10 lakh jobs in first cabinet meet if we form govt. These will be government jobs and hence will be permanent in nature. I promise to meet the 'equal pay for equal work' demand of teachers," he said. Earlier, Tejashwi sought blessings of his mother Rabri Devi and elder brother Tej Pratap ahead filing nomination. The 30-year-old Yadav scion will contest against BJP candidate Satish Kumar. In 2015, Tejashwi had won the seat defeating BJP candidate by a margin of 22,733 votes.

Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav today (Oct 14) filed nomination from Raghopur assembly seat. He was accompanied by his brother Tej Pratap. Bihar elections 2020 for 243 seats will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and 7.
Artists performed at 'Ayodhya Ki Ram Leela' program at Laxman Kila Maidan in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya on October 17. The Ram Leela will be performed for nine days of Navratri from October 17 to October 25.
The work of shifting carved stones, which will be used in the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, began on Friday. The stones are being shifted from the workshop to the temple premises. Priests performed special prayers before the stones carved for building the Ram temple. The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) approved the layout of the Ram Temple in September.
Mahagathbandhan's CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at BJP and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Tejashwi mocked BJP saying that the world's largest party does not have a CM face. The RJD leader said if he's inexperienced then why are they using full force against him. "BJP is the largest party in the world but they don't have a CM candidate," he said. Tejashwi added, "I have been an MLA, Leader of Opposition and also held deputy CM's post. My five years of experience is equivalent to 50 years of experience." Earlier, Tejashwi challenged Bihar CM to debate on any of his achievements in last five years. The RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar comprises Congress and Left parties. BJP-JDU alliance has agreed upon sharing 121-122 seats in the assembly polls. Bihar elections will be conducted in three phases starting October 28. Results of the state assembly polls will be declared on November 10.

Ahead of Bihar polls, (Rashtriya Janata Dal) RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on October 20 said that Yogi Adityanath's campaign in Bihar is no challenge for RJD, BJP is frustrated and sad as they know that they are not coming back to power. "There is no challenge, they are frustrated and sad as they know that they are not coming back to power. The whole country's power is being used against me. I am all alone and they call me inexperienced. I have been MLA, Deputy CM and LoP in these last five years which is comparable to 50 years of experience," said Yadav.
Ahead of Bihar polls, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on October 19 challenged Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to debate with him on any of his achievement in last 15 years as a head of the state. "I challenge Nitish Kumar to debate with me on any of his achievement in last 15 years. We should start this new tradition as democracy was first established in Bihar's Vaishali. There should be a debate between chief minister candidates. People are very angry with the state government. We are going to form the government with a very comfortable majority," said Yadav.
