Lok Sabha Speaker pulls up officials for skipping Parliamentary panel meet on pollution; next meet on Wednesday

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla pulled them up and asked officials, absent from the meet on pollution in Delhi, to ensure that it is not repeated. The panel's head Jagdambika Pal had written to the speaker over the matter, expressing his "displeasure" at the absence of senior govt officials. Sources said Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had summoned and chided some of the key truant officials.
