A Kali puja committee have made a pandal with clay material in Assam's Dibrugarh. Tarun Samity Kali Puja Committee tried to give village look to pandal and used earthen products for it. Artists looked it as an opportunity to garner and enhance their skills. One of the artists said, "We thought to make the idol in a creative way. People here are very skilful and have immense talent. Therefore we aimed to enhance their skills." The committee was inspired by PM Modi's vocal for local initiative. One of the members of the committee said, "We used local products, made clay items and used it for decoration, following Prime Minister's call of vocal for local."

Manohari Gold Tea, a famous tea produced by Manohari Tea Estate, was auctioned at Rs 75,000 per kg at Guwahati Tea Auction Centre creating a record for the third successive year. In the year 2018, Manohari Gold Tea was sold for Rs 39,001 per kilogram for the first time in history and again in the year 2019 breaking all records it was sold for Rs 50,000 per kilogram. This year, the Gold Tea was bought by Vishnu Tea Company with the highest bid of Rs 75,000 per kilogram, breaking all its previous records. The tea was purchased for their retail store, upcountry buyers and their eCommerce website, "www.9amtea.com". As stated by Parth Lohia, Director, Manohari Tea Estate, Dibrugarh said, "I congratulate Vishnu Tea Company because they have something rare under their possession."
