Bengaluru: Late flights, damaged bags prove costly for Gulf airline

What was to be a memorable holiday to Turkiye for a Bengaluru-based family was spoiled in many ways as flight delays resulted in them missing two connecting flights to Turkiye even as their checked luggage was damaged. The family sued Gulf carrier Kuwait Airways at a city consumer court and was awarded Rs 59,620 refund on ticket fares and Rs 30,000 as compensation.
