Akal Takht Jathedar urges Punjab govt not to interfere in SGPC affairs, advises both sides to resolve issue

Just before the Punjab government pushed the bill in the state assembly for amendment in Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925 on Tuesday, newly appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Raghbir Singh issued an appeal that the Punjab government should not interfere in the affairs of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and both sides should sit together and amicably resolve the issue through earnest discussions.
