Gurbani telecast: SGPC shelves plan for tenders, to start own YouTube channel

Amid huge controversy around live telecast of Gurbani kirtan from Darbar Sahib, including the Punjab government's amendment to the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has shelved its earlier plan to call tenders for telecast of Gurbani and its has started preparations to launch its own YouTube and Facebook channels after its agreement expires with PTC on July 23.
