Open pits kill 4 more kids in UP, 20 dead in 16 days

In two separate incidents in Rampur and Sambhal districts of UP, four children lost their lives in pits dug and left open by brick kiln owners, report Kanwardeep Singh & Asif Ansari. Responding to the recent surge - a shocking 10 deaths within 10 days - DIG (Moradabad) Muniraj G issued directives to SHOs in the region to ensure that the pits are adequately covered.
