J&K’s Baramulla & Handwara get movie halls after 33 years

Cinema halls have made a comeback after 33 years in Baramulla and Handwara, with the J&K LG Manoj Sinha inaugurating two 100-seater halls in the twin north Kashmir towns. This is part of the UT administration's initiative to reopen cinemas that had been shuttered due to terrorism in the past few decades, and to expand entertainment options, making the cinema-going culture a normal practice.
