Indigenous peoples' rights must be protected for sake of humanity: Mamata Banerjee

On the occasion of 'International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples', West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged everyone to rise above differences of caste, religion, and race to protect the rights of the indigenous people. The day is celebrated on August 9 across 90 countries worldwide to raise awareness of the inequities faced by indigenous people.
