Army is not a solution to Manipur issue: Assam CM

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the Army can bring only a temporary solution to Manipur as a permanent solution can only come from the heart and not from bullets. The Army will not be able to solve anything". They will be able to quieten or bring a temporary solution in a given situation. Solution will come only from the heart and not from bullets," the Assam CM said. Attacking the Congress, Sarma said the opposition raised hue and cry in Parliament for vested political interest.
