Crime filter in BJP’s proforma for ticket aspirants to Telangana assembly

BJP in Telangana has hammered out a first-cut filter mechanism for tainted ticket aspirants. On the first day of the deadline-based application process - a maiden procedure kicked off by the state unit - ticket hopefuls had to answer 18 specific queries on their prison sentence or pending criminal cases in the proforma.
