BJP asks cadres not to target Maya during its Dalit outreach

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided not to criticize Mayawati, the chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), during its ongoing outreach campaign in Dalit-dominated villages in Uttar Pradesh. The party has instructed its members to focus on promoting BJP ideology rather than engaging in negative campaigning. The campaign, initially scheduled to last a week, has been extended until December. The BJP recognizes the special allegiance of the Dalit community to Mayawati and does not want to risk alienating them.
