IndiaTimes Saturday, 30 September 2023
The Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum will be loaning the 'wagh nakh', a knuckle duster used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, to the state government of Maharashtra for three years. The weapon will be displayed in four museums across the state. An 11-member committee has been formed to plan the security and transport arrangements for bringing back the tiger claws from London. The V&A Museum expressed excitement about the display of the weapon in India and hopes it will lead to new research into its history.
