A graphic designer and three others have been arrested in Mumbai for selling counterfeit entry passes to a garba event. The designer was reportedly inspired by an OTT show where an artist creates fake currency notes. The police seized 1,000 counterfeit passes and hologram stickers. This is the second garba-related scam in the western suburbs this month. The passes were being sold for Rs 3,000 each at an authorized stall in Borivali and online for Rs 3,800. Investigations found that at least 110 people had purchased fake passes.
