Four from B'luru booked for assaulting traffic cop

Four individuals from Bengaluru have been booked by the Mysuru police for obstructing a traffic policeman from performing his duties near Hardinge Circle. The incident occurred when the officer asked the car passengers, who are traders from Bengaluru, to move forward due to congestion. The passengers took offense and assaulted the officer. The accused have been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The incident has left the traffic police demoralized, but the department has assured them of support and warned that such behavior will not be tolerated during the Dasara celebrations.
