Man killed Swiss ‘lover’, dumped body in west Delhi

A Swiss woman named Nina Berger was found murdered in Delhi, India. The suspect, Gurpreet Singh, had invited her to Delhi from Zurich, Switzerland, but she had rejected his marriage proposal. Singh confessed to strangling her when she refused to marry him. The police arrested Singh, who had met Berger on a dating app in Zurich in 2021, after confirming his identity through CCTV footage. The Swiss embassy has been informed, and investigations are ongoing to corroborate Singh's statements.
