'Judges should respect roster, hear only Chief Justice-assigned cases'

The court stated that taking up a case without the specific assignment by the chief justice is a breach of discipline and a gross impropriety. Order was passed while quashing an order by the Rajasthan High Court, where a civil writ petition was filed instead of a criminal writ petition.
