Man drives car into UP festival crowd, mows down woman, 4-year-old grandkid

A tragic incident occurred when a car plowed into a crowd celebrating a local festival near Rind river in Bhaura village, located in the Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh. In this unfortunate incident, a 60-year-old woman named Ram Pyari and her four-year-old granddaughter lost their lives, while two others, Savita and Ram Kali, suffered injuries. The car driver fled the scene. Kapil Dubey, the in-charge of Rura police station, reported that Ram Pyari and her granddaughter were fatally injured at the scene.
