Twist in the tale: No terror angle in IED blast at prayer meet that killed 2, injured 58 in Kerala's Kalamassery

A man from Kochi surrendered himself to the police claiming responsibility for the blasts at a convention center in Kalamassery, where members of Jehovah's Witnesses had gathered. The man, identified as Dominic Martin, released a video before surrendering, explaining his motives for targeting the Christian sect. The police are currently verifying the evidence provided by Martin and investigating whether he acted alone or with accomplices. The blast was of low intensity, causing burns to most of the injured individuals. Central agencies including the NIA and NSG are involved in the investigation.
