Uttarakhand: Chef kidnaps, rapes boss’s daughter, gets 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment

A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment for kidnapping and raping a minor girl in Nainital. The accused, who worked as a chef in the girl's father's restaurant, took her to Nagpur under the pretext of marriage. The girl was rescued by the police with the help of Maharashtra police. The accused was arrested and presented with DNA evidence that matched his samples. The prosecution presented 10 witnesses to support their case.
