Infant drowns in bucket as mom takes nap

An infant drowned after falling into a bucket full of water at his home in Panvel on Saturday. The 10-month-old boy was found lying upside down, head dunked in the plastic bucket, by his mother when she woke up after a nap in the afternoon, reports George Mendonca. The child, Ashiq Al Iman, whose parents are daily-wage labourers, was with his mother inside the house when the mother dozed off. Until she fell asleep, the infant was awake and was playing at home.
