Mizoram records 17.28 per cent voter turnout in early hours
Polling in the Christian majority state Mizoram is underway in a peaceful way. The state recorded 17.28% voter turnout as at 10.30 am, according to the state data center. Tuichang assembly constituency in Khawzawl district recorded the highest voter turnout with 27.22%, which is followed by Tuichawng constituency in Lawngtlai district with 23.38%. Lowest turnout was recorded in Aizawl East-II (13.05%) constituency at 10 am according to the state data center.
