He suggested that educated women should educate their husbands about safe contraceptive methods. The opposition BJP called his comments "vulgar" and "derogatory." This is not the first time Nitish Kumar has made controversial remarks, as he was previously criticized for discussing bestiality. The BJP demanded a ban on his "double-meaning remarks," while the JD(U) defended him, stating that he used "lucid language" to make his point.
