Lone martyr of Karnataka unification is forgotten; memorial sought

Ramzansab Pinjar was a Kannada activist in Ballari in the pre-Independence era. Being a wrestler, he used to utilise his skills to face attacks by anti-Kannada people in the border district. When Ballari was merged with Mysuru state, he was one of the activists who planned a grand celebration in October 2, 1953.
