MP court orders Rs 1.6 crore compensation to 14-yr-old who lost parents, sis in crash

A 14-year-old girl has been awarded a compensation of over Rs 1.6 crore by a sessions court in Bhopal. The girl was the sole survivor of a car accident that killed her parents and elder sister on the Bhopal-Indore highway three years ago. The accident occurred when their car hit a parked tanker. The compensation will be paid by the insurance company, as well as the owner and driver of the tanker. The court combined four claim suits related to the incident.
