'Expect we can reach victims in two-odd days': Nitin Gadkari after inspecting Uttarkashi tunnel crash site
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari visited the Uttarkashi tunnel collapse site and expressed hope that the trapped victims will be reached within the next two to two-and-a-half days. Private tunnel experts have also been roped in for the rescue efforts, and food, medicine, and oxygen are being provided to those trapped inside. The Minister urged people not to jump to conclusions and assured that investigations are ongoing to determine the technical reasons behind the collapse. The under-construction tunnel collapsed on November 12.
