NIA files chargesheet against six more CPI (Maoist) cadres in Bijapur Naxal attack case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted six more CPI (Maoist) cadres in connection with the 2021 Naxal attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The attack resulted in the deaths of 22 security personnel. The chargesheet includes various sections of the UA(P)Act 1967, Arms Act, Explosive Substances Act and the IPC. In total, 46 accused have been chargesheeted so far in the case. Investigations to apprehend others involved in the attack are ongoing.
