ED searches ex-cricketers Shivlal Yadav, Arshad Ayub

The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches on former cricketers Shivlal Yadav and Arshad Ayub, as well as other individuals and companies, in Telangana under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. The searches resulted in the recovery of digital devices, incriminating documents, and unaccounted cash. The investigation was initiated based on three FIRs registered by the Anti Corruption Bureau relating to misappropriation of funds in the Hyderabad Cricket Association. The chargesheets alleged serious irregularities in the procurement of equipment for the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Incriminating documents also revealed large cash transactions related to real estate activities.
