Delhi: Rape-accused doctor gets bail, court says ties consensual

A Delhi court has granted bail to a doctor accused of rape and sodomy by a woman on the pretext of marrying her because the evidence placed on record reflected that both were in a relationship. The judge pointed out several lapses in the investigation. The court granted bail to the doctor, stating that the investigation of the accused was complete. The court also directed an inquiry into the manner in which the investigation was conducted by the IO.
