MK Vishwanathan and his wife fought for justice for their daughter Soumya, who was killed by carjackers on Nelson Mandela Road in 2008. After 14 years of battling the court case, the four killers - Ravi Kapoor, Baljit Malik, Amit Shukla, and Ajay Kumar - were sentenced to life imprisonment. Despite the closure, the fight took a toll on Vishwanathan, who passed away two weeks after the court's verdict on his daughter's birthday.
