Bengaluru doctors remove bullet stuck in man's head for 18 years

A Yemeni man named Saleh underwent successful bullet removal surgery in Bengaluru after living with a 3-cm-long bullet in his head for 18 years. The surgery, performed at Aster Hospital, was challenging due to the bullet's location near vital vascular structures. However, the surgical team managed to dislodge the bullet without any major complications, relieving Saleh's pain and partially restoring his hearing. Saleh, a father of two, returned to Yemen after the surgery and is currently pursuing his degree in English and French.
