Three Maoists killed in encounter in Bastar

Three Maoists were gunned down by the joint forces of Bastar Fighters and DRG during an encounter that took place in the jungles in the Katekalyan police station area of Dantewada on Sunday, the police stated. According to the statement released by the IG office, Bastar, a joint team of Bastar Fighters and DRG departed from the Tumakpal camp under the jurisdiction of Katekalyan police station in the Dantewada district for a search operation. A significant quantity of explosives and Naxal-related materials were also recovered during the search.
