SP offers 11 LS seats in UP, Congress says talks still underway

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav announced on Saturday that 11 seats have been set aside for Congress, describing it as a "promising start" to seat-sharing negotiations with the INDIA bloc partner. Congress, however, was yet to "officially" put its stamp of approval on the SP chief's announcement and maintained that talks were still underway.
