Bengaluru jail jammers make next-door residents ‘not reachable’ 24x7

The installation of new jammers at Central Jail in Parappana Agrahara, Bengaluru, in January this year, aimed to address the persistent illegal use of mobile phones by prisoners. However, residents in the nearby apartment complex continue to face network issues, affecting delivery agents and emergency communications. The prison authorities, including senior police officials, are working on resolving the technical aspects.
