18-month-old gets head stuck in cooking vessel, rescued

Fire and rescue services personnel on Sunday night successfully freed an 18-month-old boy whose head was trapped in a cooking vessel. The incident occurred in Porur where the fire brigade received a distress call around 6pm. The toddler, identified as Krithigan, son of Anand and Krithika from Mangala Nagar, was playing at home when he peeped into a vessel and got his head stuck in it. When the parents' desperate attempts to release him turned futile, they reached out to the fire control room for assistance.
