Sunday, 14 April 2024 Former security guard Deepak Raj Sharma in Dehradun ran a fraudulent call centre nationwide under PM Mudra Loan scheme. Nabbed in Vrindavan temple. Started in small jobs, offered mobile tower installation, and recruited Telugu speakers for fraud.
The business community in Uttarakhand has praised the Union Budget 2024 for the separate disaster-related package and provisions for youth employment. However, the lack of GST simplification and specific provisions for traders has left the business community somewhat disappointed.
