Sunday, 4 August 2024 Over 40 people are still missing after a series of cloudbursts occurred in Kullu's Nirmand, Sainj and Malana, Mandi's Padhar and Shimla's Rampur subdivision on the night of July 31 and wreaked havoc.
Civilians defence drills were carried out in several cities across India as tensions remain high with Pakistan. Sirens were sounded and blackouts observed in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Chandigarh, Shimla and others in a bid to prepare civilians for any possible threats in case a war breaks-out between India and Pakistan.
