LG: Mutation of land in urban villages open, move to benefit lakhs

Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena announced the resumption of land mutation based on inheritance for agricultural land in over 174 urban villages in Delhi. The process begins with camps set up in villages starting Friday. This decision impacts lakhs of residents who were denied this right since 2010 due to urbanization.
